This is a sturdy dependable product, very well made. I use it for picking up trash in my adopted stream, as well as pulling downed branches and other debris out of the water.
The handle is a little on the small sized and gets uncomfortable during extended use
I did lose the blue plastic tips within a week but this didn\'t affect the performance,
except small bits of paper tended to slip thru the jaws. If the jaws get out of alignment, they are easily (bent) realigned by hand w/o tools. It is sturdy enough to use as a cane to steady ones self on slippery surfaces,

I REALLY BOUGHT THIS FOR MY WIFE TO ADJUST THE FIREWOOD IN THE FIRE PIT AS IT BURNS DOWN. I JUST HAD TO REMOVE THE RUBBER GRIPPERS FROM THE CLAW AND SHE TOOK OVER. NO MORE FIGHTING WITH A STICK TO GET THE BURNING LOG TO GO WHERE SHE WANTS IT TO. GOTTA KEEP HER HAPPY; YOU KNOW AND IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT ADD UP....
